By special invitation, the Central Cal Baseball Academy 16U team will take an impressive 34-7-1 record to Peoria, Arizona to compete against 35 other Elite teams in quest of bringing home a Perfect Game National Championship to the Valley. This tournament is considered the West Coast version of the WWBA Underclass World Championships.
The boys have played very hard to get to this point and are very excited about the opportunity. Most of their 7 losses were to older 18U teams they played in some tournaments. The team opens Friday, 09.24.10 against a very strong Arizona Clash squad. Game two on Saturday, 09.25 is against the runner up from last years tournament, ABD Nevada.
In preparation for the National Championship, the team took batting practice under the lights Wednesday night at Chukchansi Park.
